Day 1 September 2016 Daily Painting Challenge

I have not been able to get back to this blog since I moved my studio - over a year ago.  I have joined the new September 30/30 Worldwide painting challenge and will hope to get this blog updated. I may not finish 30 paintings in 30 days but the attempt will be worth the try. Even one is better than none.

Day 1 Annabelle's

I hurried off to the studio this morning to begin a new series of paintings that I have had in mind for some time. "Summer Treats". I have been photographing ice cream shops all summer for this series. So this is day 1 of the challenge and this is Annabelle's. 4" x 4" x 1" acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. This is a very new theme for me so these really are preliminary paintings for larger ones later on.
